THERE IS NO PEACE WITHOUT JUSTICE.

For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars.2Chronicles16:9

Why are we scared of wars ?We don’t like to hear about wars because thousands die in it and many innocent people become homeless and orphan.

In today’s world we ought to be scared of our mental wars and not the physical wars fought by different countries.

We read in 2 Chronicles about the fact that the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth,to show himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to him.

We assume that our evil thoughts about our neighbors can’t be seen by anyone but the mighty one is watching over us 24×7 .

As we are preparing ourselves to commemorate the birth of the prince of Peace we have to reflect more upon the injustice caused to so many for our selfish gain.

Jesus Christ knows it well that many of us are getting ready outwardly to celebrate Christmas when true Jesus will continue to suffer year after year even when we will be wishing each other a Merry Christmas.

For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Do not let your prophets and your diviners who are among you deceive you, and do not listen to the dreams that they dream, for it is a lie that they are prophesying to you in my name;I did not send them, declares the Lord.Jeremiah 29:8-9

Let us not believe in those who tells us to ignore the sufferings of the downtrodden and enjoy a joyous Christmas. This is the injustice which the true followers of Christ must strive hard to eradicate.

It is justice that enables the Lord to reply to our prayers Immediately. It is peace that enables the Lord to reside among us always.

During this Advent let us vow to alienate ourselves from those who are unjust to poor people and avoid those who deny the rights of human beings but suggests to pray more to show off to the society because such prayers are never ever answered.

12 Then he continued, “Do not be afraid,Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them.Daniel 10:12

Where there is justice in the heart of a person, his/her prayers are heard instantly as it had happened with God’s warrior Daniel .

Thank you very much.Take care.🙏

I’m with you brother. The worldliness of this holiday kindles our flesh not our spirit.
Instead of gifts for each other, we should be gifting widows and orphans – of which there are plenty who are praying for help.
    Press on brother!

  2. Excellent post Francis! Yes, let us not be like white washed tombs: Clean on the outside but dead on the inside. God has given us new hearts. May we seek justice for those who are neglected: the poor, the hungry, the weak.. May it start with us. God Bless and take care. 🙏🙏
