JESUS DIDN’T SAY ‘FOLLOW CHRISTIANS’ HE SAID ‘FOLLOW ME’

Any genuine product or thought once delivered to the masses is likely to be distorted or it loses it’s originality because people accept it the way it suits them.

In the same way a noble idea to serve the people in this world was once shared by a great messiah,it was indeed a marvelous thought but it has become somewhat disgusting or ridiculous in many parts of the world.

The Messiah is certainly not responsible for the distortion but some so called hypocrite followers have transformed it into a forest where wild animals abounds.

Many of the leaders have not understood what Christianity literally means.

They have made it their personal property, where they have built palaces with the money that was meant for the poor and downtrodden. They have added extra meaning to the holy verses of the Bible which is suitable for them but contrary to the teachings of the Messiah.

In the last two thousands years they have not become rich by collecting funds for the poor even though they are helping only some selected helpless people .

They have a different definitions of poverty so they study to find out who are really needy(You have to understand it) and then they help them. Not all the poor people are eligible for their help.

A Warning Against Hypocrisy

23 Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: “The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. So you must be careful to do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. They tie up heavy, cumbersome loads and put them on other people’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them.

“Everything they do is done for people to see: They make their phylacteries wide and the tassels on their garments long; they love the place of honor at banquets and the most important seats in the synagogues;they love to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces and to be called ‘Rabbi’ by others.

“But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have one Teacher, and you are all brothers. And do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven. 10 Nor are you to be called instructors, for you have one Instructor, the Messiah. 11 The greatest among you will be your servant.12 For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted. -Mathew 23:1-12

So don’t follow Christians follow only Jesus Christ the one and only instructor.

Thank you very much.Take care.

  1. Sometimes, I think it is just easier for some people to consult a person about their future, about guidance in life, or take someone’s word and interpretation of the Bible, instead of being Bible literate and allowing the Holy Spirit to guide them, and bring them into truth.
    This is dangerous.

Preachers have their place, but they don’t take the place of God and His word. They don’t take the place of the Holy Spirit.

I agree and say it often; some people have hijacked, or attemptred to high- jack the gospel for their own agenda.

In addition, idolatry causes some people to look to, and sadly worship positions, titles, and people, more than God.

  2. Oh, Francis!! This post is just so true! Jesus did not come here to begin religion but to bring to us the Kingdom of Heaven. He taught us to follow him in that, how he lived, what he did, and what he taught. I was pulled out of all organized religions years ago when Jesus directed me to so that he and only he could teach me. And teach me he did and still does. Too many have twisted what Jesus came here to do and that, my friend, I stay far far away from. God bless you for writing the Truth. xo
