Jesus continued: “There was a man who had two sons. 12 The younger one said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.’So he divided his property between them.

13 “Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth in wild living. 14 After he had spent everything, there was a severe famine in that whole country, and he began to be in need.15 So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed pigs. 16 He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything.

17 “When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! 18 I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. 19 I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants.’ 20 So he got up and went to his father.

The problem we are facing today is, we need a real support to grow steadily because somehow we have lost the real grace and real joy so many of us are in despair.

We don’t lack anything but sometimes we are in a wrong place for taking the wrong decision.

This post is not only meant for spiritual upliftment but it is also meaningful for our earthly relationships with all those who love us dearly.

We have everything but sometimes we cannot enjoy it because we don’t dwell in our Father’s house.

All our comfort is stored in our Father’s house but when we look at the colourful world and prefer to live else where we starve,we live like beggars.

Realising our mistakes is not enough but understanding the father’s love and forgiveness is of utmost importance.

Even when the son had spent half of his father’s property for merry making the father had no grudge against his beloved son.

He eagerly waited for him to return to his own house where, even the servants had more than enough to eat.

I shall be too busy with the task of copy checking and preparing the report cards before the Puja Vacation.

Thank you very much. 💞Take care.

  2. So true, we all need to spend time with our Lord each and every day and when we do we begin to change from the inside-out. One way to put it we love spending time with a friend and catching up with all their news, shouldn’t we get excited when we spend time alone with God believe me it is much better than a human friend, and He is one friend we can always count on.

  3. I don’t want to live like a beggar when my Heavenly Father is ready to offer me so much–not worldly goods (that are meaningless in the end) but spiritual: his love, peace, joy, satisfaction, wisdom, and more. He’s a good, good Father, just like the song affirms!
