Be merciful to me, O LORD, for I am in distress; my eyes grow weak with sorrow, my soul and my body with grief.

My life is consumed by anguish and my years by groaning; my strength fails because of my affliction,  and my bones grow weak.

Because of all my enemies, I am the utter contempt of my neighbors; I am a dread to my friends– those who see me on the street flee from me.

I am forgotten by them as though I were dead; I have become like broken pottery.

For I hear the slander of many; there is terror on every side; they conspire against me and plot to take my life.

But I trust in you, O LORD; I say, “You are my God.”My times are in your hands; deliver me from my enemies and from those who pursue me.

Let your face shine on your servant; save me in your unfailing love.-PSALM 31:9-15

The above message from the Holy Book depicts the status of a broken hearted person.

I remember a story of an auction ,I am sorry it can’t be attributed to the actual narrator as I don’t know the exact source.

Once a man arranged an auction of great antiques in a huge hall .Rich people had gathered there to bring home the best article of value.

The man had sold almost everything when he had an old violin, which had gathered a lot of dust on it as it was not used for long was left on the Dias. The strings had loosened so it seemed to be of no use.

The man took it in his hand and shouted aloud it’s price, just one dollar but the people started walking back home as no one was interested in buying that old violin.

When the crowd was at a distance from the dias where the auction was arranged, one of them who was an expert of violin and other musical instruments took up the violin and tightened the strings and began to play the loveliest of melodies.

The crowd turned back and returned to the Dias, the violin which they refused to buy for a dollar was sold at the highest bid of that day’s auction.

My beloved friends ,we are in despair ,we are troubled because we seem to be invalid, our performances are not attractive.

We are in distress and are the utter contempt of our neighbors and friends perhaps because we need to come in touch with the expert ,who will tune us and bring the best out of us for the world.

I know everyone is important, every one’s performance can be the greatest show on earth only if we be loyal to the author of beauty.Let’s not worry of our little short comings because it’s part of the show as we read on.

Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.  That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships,in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.-Corinthians12:7-12

We only need to be in his grace even though we sin again and again and we shed tears for our sins and the interesting part is, the Lord himself assures us that his power is sufficient for us.

So my dear ones please cheer up and live with great enthusiasm because we are living for a purpose and we are not alone because the mighty one is with us .

Thank you very much.Take care.
