22 Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying: ² “The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son. ³ He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come, but they refused to come.

⁴ “Then he sent some more servants and said, ‘Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner: My oxen and fattened cattle have been butchered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.’

⁵ “But they paid no attention and went off—one to his field, another to his business.⁶ The rest seized his servants, mistreated them and killed them. ⁷ The king was enraged. He sent his army and destroyed those murderers and burned their city.

⁸ “Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited did not deserve to come. ⁹ So go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.’ ¹⁰ So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, the bad as well as the good,and the wedding hall was filled with guests.

¹¹ “But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes. ¹² He asked, ‘How did you get in here without wedding clothes, friend ?’ The man was speechless.

¹³ “Then the king told the attendants, ‘Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

¹⁴ “For many are invited, but few are chosen.”

My beloved friends this extract from the Holy Bible tells us of his immense love for all that has been created .

We have a mighty God ,who is all powerful hence he doesn’t tell us of our enemies except the Satan .He is not able to tolerate the punishment of a fellow human being for his faults irrespective of his caste ,creed and faith.

He has told us to forgive 70× 7 times so that the Good Lord would find his beloved followers meek and humble like him on the day of Judgement .He died on the cross for no fault of his own yet he remained silent for a purpose.

A mighty God can’t be selective of a particular faith only ,he is the God of everyone whether we accept it or not .

So far charity is concerned ,it is found among the people of different faith .It is not only practiced by the followers of Jesus and as God’s children we have inherited some qualities of God even when we are sinners.

Whenever we hear of an incident or accident where a person has died to save another person we become so emotional that sometimes tears roll down our cheeks and we forget to inquire about the faith of the dead person because there is no need to know anything more .His last act was enough for us to know about his faith because Charity is universal.

I don’t know but some of the people living today would be asked by the Supreme judge to be a part of the Jury during the last judgement.

I know those who would be part of the Jury would not ask anything about the faith of certain people when you will be able to see their activities on this earth in a flashback and you know ,the interesting fact is that the Lord would not interfere in your decisions because you are a part of the Living God and you would take the perfect decision to save the souls of the kind and charitable people irrespective of their faith .

You won’t believe in what I am telling you today but before it’s too late let us take up Charity as the only activity of life to be saved from pestilences,natural calamities and even nuclear bombs and missiles.

Let Charity be the weapon against all odds even the dread virus and the other pestilences,likely to appear sooner or later.
